College Union


The College Union is an elected body of students of the college for the promotion of the practice of democracy and leadership qualities among the students of the college. The College Union consists of Chairman, Vice Chairman, General Secretary, Joint Secretary, Fine Arts Secretary, Magazine Editor, General Captain and University Union Councillor elected by the students for each academic year. The Union functions under the guidance of a Staff Advisor appointed by the Principal.

  • The President of the Union is the Principal (ex-officio)
  • The Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Joint Secretary.
  • One representative each of I D.C., II D.C, III D.C., and P.G. classes elected by the students of the respective classes.
  • The Student Editor of the college Magazine.
  • Secretary of the Fine Arts.
  • General Captain.
  • University Union Councilors.
  • The Staff Advisor nominated by the President. The Union Secretary shall act as the Secretary of the Executive Committee
