World no Tobacco Day focuses on spreading awareness about the dangers of using tobaccoand how a number of health problems can be better tackled by Doctors or averted when onequits smoking. The WHO says “Today can be Day 1” in an effort to quit tobacco.

As a part of World No Tobacco Day, Department of Accounting and Taxation organized Quotes Making Competition against the use of Tobaccos.

It was an inter-departmental competition and students from various departments participated in it. 8 participants were in the competition and Ms. Aiswaryalakshmi EL won the first prize.
