Career Guidance and Placement Cell

The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of the college plays a pivotal role in orienting the students in acquiring better career options. The Cell supports students appearing for job interviews and examinations, organize programmes in leadership training, communication and presentation skills, group discussions and sensitize them on possible career options and its requirements. Campus recruitment drives are also organized by the Cell.

• The Cell tries to provide avenues for students to channelize their talents by organizing interface sessions with prospective employers so that students get a chance to improve their specific skills.
• It offers opportunities to students to acquaint and prepare for higher studies and employment
• Students are intimated about career opportunities and are encouraged to attend career-oriented seminars.
• Soft skill development programmes, personality development programmes, motivational talks, mock interviews and seminars are conducted to empower students
• Training on resume/CV preparation, communication skills, interview techniques, group discussions and written test is provided.
• Industrial visits and field trips organized by the college also assist in familiarizing the students with industry/agency

Since we have more Undergraduate programmes than Postgraduate programmes, many of our students go for higher studies before they choose a specific career. Further, due to the remoteness of the institution, the professions chosen by a large number of students of this college are teaching in higher educational institutions and schools, banks, insurance companies and the like.
