Department of sociology conducted three day National Gender Lecture Series on “Space& Practices of Gender” from 5/6/2021 to 10/6/2021 at 7 Pm through Google Meet platform.

• Dr. Rekha Raj, Assistant Professor SGTDS, M G University was the resource person for the first day of the national level lecture series. The topic of the webinar was “Some Thoughts on Feminist Movements in Kerala”. 

• On the second day of the national level lecture series, the resource person Dr. Radha, Assistant Professor Department of Media & Communication, Tamil Nadu spoke on the topic “Gender & Representations in Contemporary Media Platforms”.

•  The third sessions of the national lecture series lead by Prof. Abey Koshy, Department of Philosophy SSUS Kalady. 

The experience and knowledge of the resource persons reflected in these three day lecture series. The aim and purpose of the programme completely achieved after the interactive session. All the sessions helped to enhance knowledge about gender roles, practices and sexual differences in society.
